Big Sugar Bush Lake (also spelled Sugarbush) takes its name from the many maple trees surrounding the lake. It is a smaller lake in northern Becker County, with a surface area of 472 acres, and shore length of 7.4 miles. Maximum depth is 42 feet; water clarity is excellent at 17 feet.

The lake association was originally established in 1975, and reestablished in 1989. Members have actively worked to preserve the lake's miles of natural shoreline and excellent water quality. The association meets twice a year and publishes a newsletter.
